Espressolab’s Latte

Quickie Review


Owner Leong runs his own micro roaster, one of the few coffee establishments that has one. There seems to be a coffee explosion in KL since last year and Espressolab is a local brand that is getting some buzz and attention. Their coffee is a blend of coffee beans sourced from Sumatra and other parts of the world. I tried their latte, served in a nice porcelain orange cup. It's easy to drink and leaves a nice aftertaste. Not bad for a below RM10 coffee. Coffee comes in 5oz, 7oz and 10oz sizes which is their way of saying macchiato, cappuccino and the largest which is latte. They serve plain water on the side just in case coffee is too strong for you. I tried the one at e@Curve but they have one at Gardens Mall. Maybe you'll recognise that one more since it's situated strategically on the bridge between Gardens and Mid Valley.
