"The shop only opens when fresh fish head is available that day...." Riz and the Foodsters' are now invading Batu Pahat, Johor. Our target is the Assam Pedas Fish Head at Kedai Mak Limah. She starts her shop at about 7am and we heard that she only opens when fresh fish head is available that day. That's how fresh the fish is. Of course, that got us curious as well... This assam pedas must be one of the best in town. And that is saying a lot as Batu Pahat is the Assam Pedas town in Malaysia. You can get assam pedas from about 6am in the morning until midnight. At any time, there will be some place serving assam pedas here. Watch Riz half narrating, half eating his way through Mak Limah's assam pedas. By the end of this video shoot... he finished two heads himself and left only a bit for the rest of the crew! .... Mak Limah has finished as well ... Little did he know....the next day.. in the wee hours of the morning while Riz was sleeping, we lapped up some of the fine Mak Limah fish head... and came back to an unsuspecting snoring Riz....
