Do try the Kwey Tiao Kia at these places at this time:

Morning: Rong Shu Xia. Jln Maju. The street beside Plaza Pelangi. Same row with Sin Chew Jit Poh office. Last rom. It is most established and nicest in JB. However, must be early, or else most ingredients finised.

Evening: Along Jln Stulang Darat. That's the shop that moved from Jln Lumba Kuda. Not much ppl knew after they shift. Same great taste! [Posted By Anonymous]

For Wan Tan Mee there's one more stall. Ho Seng Kee. Now in Tmn Century, opp Century Plaza. They operated previously in Jln Meldrum. Their noodle is very "q". Refer to their website www.hosengkee.com for loaction map. Must Try!!!

For Johor Laksa u can try a stall in Tmn Pelangi. It is at Jln Biru hawker area. Just opp San Low Seafood. Remember to look at the stall that sells "Laksa". There're other stalls that sell "curry-mee" which is totlly different taste.
There is a stall in Senai by the name of Kim Long that serves good crispy duck for RM30. Its crowded from lunch till dinner. Go straight after the Senai airport entrance and keep going till you past a toll, the shop is on the left. The deep fried fish is fresh and crispy. Value for money and great taste. [Posted By Andrea]

The Kim loong(senai) sells nice fish chips cooked with onion leafs
Jiang Chong Yu Pian.
LAKSA
Do try the laksa along Jalan seri Tebrau. After Std Chartered, after Esso, turn into the row of shophouses. Go along and stop when you see a shop by the name You Shui restaurant. They sell laksa better than Kolam ayer. Try adding lime into your laksa, it will taste heavenly.
Kway tiao kia
The best kway tiao kia I believe is at San lou. Third floor, the so-called Black house of JB. Near Eden and next to ZHENG ANN temple.
Nasi Lemak
At Tmn Perling, you will find Restaurant Mana Lagi. Nice nasi lemak they are selling with fried chickens. Boss formerly a cook for Sultan.
Hi, I am staying just across the causeway in S'pore. Any good food to suggest that is within walking distance from the checkpoint? The foodstalls along Jln Meldrum look tempting! Thanks! [Posted By Yap]
