Daidomon opens in Great Eastern Mall

Daidomon Restaurant opened its doors in Kuala Lumpur last month offering patrons a taste in Japanese BBQ. The Yakiniku is offered a'la carte buffet style and features the latest technology in BBQ to its cozy restaurant - A combined grill with charcoal and gas which is smoke free. It is even safe for kids.

According to Daidomon, they serve only wagyu beef which are cattle fed with corn. For the lunch crowd, they are offering "Oi Shi" SEMI BUFFET Set Lunch ranging from RM30++ onwards where you can choose from more than 10 set of choices with each set served with rice, pickles, miso soup and tofu steak (Braised Bean Curd with Minced Chicken & Mushroom). Recently a new Giant opened at Kota Damansara and with it a new J.Co store. Finally PJ people no longer need to go to Pavillion or Sunway for their glazzy fix. And for the moment, there's no queue! Said Cik Indriana Listia Rahma, the Marketing Communications Manager of J.Co Donuts and Coffee Jakarta, "It is quite evident that the donut and coffee culture is fast becoming a part of Malaysian lifestlye."

J.Co Donuts is well-known for their melt-in-your-mouth creations but they also now have a larger beverage range. They use Arabica Coffee in their coffees including their cappucinos and espressos.

Once a year California Pizza Kitchen unveils their new family members on the menu. Mainly famed for their Pizzas, their Salads are nice for a light change. Mediterranean salad is served with a side of pita bread.


The salad consists of Romaine leaves, cucumbers, fresh tomatoes, red onions, Greek olives tosses in a lemon-herb vinaigrette and topped off with feta cheese cubes, sun dried tomatoes and homemade Tzatziki sauce.

Many liked the Asian inspired Miso salad which is crisp salad in a tangy sweet dressing, crispy rice noodles and wanton for texture.
