Check out acoustic sessions with Altimet, Radiostar and Rashdan Harith on the 10th of January 2009 from 5pm to 10pm at Coffeebean Sri Hartamas. This event kicks off a fun-filled year of activities in 2009 for Friedchillies.com. During this event too we will be launching our brand new music + food channel called I EAT MUSIC.
Sneak peeks of the first episode with talented singer-songwriter Rashdan Harith will be previewed during the event. This is also a pre-event for the forthcoming VIMA 2008, Independant Music website voize.my first ever Independent Music Awards. i eat music has partnered with VIMA to show their support for the vibrant independent music scene here in Malaysia and will be sponsoring an award for VIMA. "We are sponsoring the Best Guitar Goreng Award because well, we all appreciate a good guitar riff and it seems appropriate to sponsor something with the word 'goreng' in it," says Adly Rizal, CEO of Friedchillies Media.
In between acoustic sessions, fans can take part in trivia quizzes, meet their favourite local indie acts and get goodie bags and tickets to the awards on the 17th of January 2009 held at the Titanium dance-club. "i eat music is a show that celebrates our indie artists and enables us to feed them! You find that those who are passionate about music are usually passionate about food too and it's been great to support our local acts in such a fun way," grins Kovini Balan, the brains behind i eat music."
