New Launches

Foodies catch a whiff of this! O Gourmet has just opened its doors at Bangsar Shopping Centre and it’s not your average run of the mill grocery store. This is not the type of place where you walk through checking off your list but rather a place where you can walk through, browse and experience gourmet products.

Just look at all the wonderful flavours

Walk through the bakery that features delicious crusty loaves from Hiestand. Sniff the numerous jars of unique fragrant teas such as crème brulee, chocomint truffle, and coconut. Browse through the wine selection carefully handpicked to feature some of the more exclusive boutique wines from around the world. Indulge in the artisanal cheese section offering delights such as the Tete De Moino a Swiss gourmet cheese made by the monks of the Belleray Abbey. Play with the spices from India and get a selection of nuts dry roasted with your very own concoction.

Catch a whiff of the lovely coffee

O Gourmet also has a butcher that is divided into a halal and non-halal section offering quality cuts of meat and some uncommon items such as Wagyu beef, South African Ostritch meat, pigeon, quail, and rabbit. Their non-halal section features an extensive selection of sausages and ham including the popular Spanish Serrano Ham and Parma Ham from Italy.

Just choose the spices to mix with your own batch of nuts

As far as sweet treats go, they have plenty. Delight in the mouthwatering desserts offered by the boutique baker, Just Heavenly. They have all sorts of goodies that will please any taste bud. There is also a section featuring prestigious Spanish chocolates and another offering lovely gelatos and beverages.

The possibilities at O Gourmet are endless and it’s any foodie’s dream come true. I must warn you though that these sorts of delicacies come at a hefty price tag so do be prepared to spend.
