The cendol durian at the dessert stall in Picnic Food Court in KLCC is quite unique.Anybody tried it? [Posted By jc]

Yes, not as good as the one served in the hawker stalls in SS2. For more civilised place, try the one in Souled Out in Sri Hartamas. Be warned, strong stomach needed, or you will get drunk from fermented durian juice. [Posted By Raichu]

The one at the Oasis foodcourt(the run down one, not the new Food Junction) in MidValley gets my vote. Looks normal but carries a blg wallop. Good joke to play on kwai loh friends. [Posted By peng]

Try the one in Melaka. The Tan Kim Hock shop. Truly yummy! I think the Malacca people started the whole durian cendol hybrid thing! [Posted By durianlover]

oh heck, im from melaka, and i havent even tried it yet! will do! its just that i usually like my durians fresh, not in cakes, or dodol, or cendol... [Posted By *grin*]

I just got back from Melaka. Tried Tan Kim Hock, it was so-so only. Made of puree and dark brown in colour. I prefer the one in Jonker Walk, can't remember the name of the shop, but you will notice the crowd queing outside. There are menu's outside offering all types of Cendol. I tried all 4! It was ALL good. The gula Melaka syrup was heavenly. Oh yes, the one in Tan Kim Hock does not come with gula melaka, that was why I was dissapointed.
