Check out Spore Beef Noodles at Scott's food court. It's different from what we have here. The soup with "lai fun" (our assam laksa noodles) is good. Their dry version is not really dry - sort of starchy, not too bad.... enjoy!

Look out for Fish & Co (it's serves Mediterranean type of cuisine). There are a few outlets, one is at Plaza Singapura (if I'm not mitaken) and another at one of the Suntec buildings. Try the mussels in garlic butter sauce. Scrummy! [Posted By Jon]

The Chinese restaurant at the Mandarin is superb. One of the finest dining experiences in Singapore. Award winning chef (ok this was 10 years ago) and luxurious surroundings will pamper and spoil you from the minute you make your reservation to when your credit card gets rejected for exceeding its limit... oh oh oh, i second what Geth said abt Marche. It's a real interesting concept of buying your food with the in-house "credit card" from the food stalls! Just hang on to that card, coz there's a $100 fine if you lose it. Food's freshly cooked. Prices are reasonable- easily get dinner below $20. Food's all sorts - from steaks to pizzas, soups and potato lashings. Great ambience too! [Posted By *grin*]
