Does anyone know where to get a really good loh mai kai? One that is nice and juicy. The one in the corner coffee shop in lucky gardens used to be one of my favourites but now its dry and horribly plain. They dont even use any lup cheong anymore. As a result, I need to find a new favourite loh mai kai place.

I think the one at "Mai Mun" at Ipoh Road is pretty good but no lap cheong on it. However, very tasty and aromatic

Try the one at Kam Fatt near Tingkat Tong Shin or somewhere thereabouts. Some mates of ours used to buy packs of it before they go rapid shooting at KKB. It's good even when cold.

I prefer my LMK on the crispier side (instead of sloppy soft).... the ones served at any SS2 stall or dimsum restaurant is good enough.
Otherwise tai thong

I now find that the Loh Mai Kai at the Golden Phoenix Chinese Restaurant at Hotel Equatorial Kuala Lumpur is hard to beat. For a cheaper and reliable weekend breakfast fix, I find the one at the Imbi wet market is pretty good.
