Hello all! I keep very weird hours, and as such, I go out to eat at very weird hours too. Here I am at 4AM wondering where and what to eat. Normally, I'd just go down to the mamak across the road from my house... but eating there every day gets a little boring. So, I'm here looking for input from everyone... where/what is there to eat late at night in or around KL/PJ?

Hopefully this can be compiled into a list some day since I'm sure that I'm not the only one who goes hunting for food at this hour!

I'll start off with a few places I don't mind driving to for food late at night:

(1) Bangsar Nasi Lemak: used to be at the same stall as Rainbow burger back when the whole road was full of stalls. They've now relocated into the Jolly Green Giant; the famous stall is right at the corner facing Jalan Bangsar. Cheap/good/I drink their sambal. 6PM~4AM?

(2) Fei Kai: towards the end of the Petaling Street area, along the same road as 7-11 and the old cinema (Rex I think?). Fried char siew/yong tau foo/steam chicken/etc. 10PM~4AM?

Well, a few places I know that stays open to the wee hours of the morning are:
1. Bak Kut Teh at Jalan Raja Laut (next to Mungo Jerry)
2. Dim Sum, Jalan Ipoh
3. Bak Kut Teh, Jalan Kepong
4. Ming Tien, Taman Megah
5. McDonald's *well, it's 24 hours...

Of course, I didn't list the mamaks cos they're mostly 24 hours.
