Does anyone here have a recipe for roti canai that they are willing to share? I have tried a couple I got from websites but they didn't turn out well. Nothing exotic - just plan good old roti canai.

Yup, it's all in the hand action I think. There is a technique that all these mamaks learnt.

only a short time. Not even 5mins. Its also after you tebar, how you make the roti.
mamak style you fold air into it and make thin and square.
malay style you roll it like a cinnamon roll and its more meaty.
The ingredients to be frank is almost 1:1 water and flour. A bit of salt. and ghee to help you along. thats it really. Be prepared for a workout. I did my own 3 times and haven't done any since. Much easier to buy one heh heh.
