We figured you might need some inspiration as to where to go for a delicious CNY or Valentine's meal so we've complied our favourite five for each:
Chinese New Year Yee Sang and Dinner

This restaurant is a favourite Yee Sang spot especially during lunchtime. Its location is smack in the middle of Sultan Ismail making it very easy to access. This year they have specialties such as Snow Pear, Seaweed, Jelly Fish, Salmon or Abalone Yee Sang.

Tai Ze Heen at Prince Hotel and Residences
The treasures here are tossed in a dressing that is a bit different from the usual citrusy vinegar. A mouth puckering plum dressing is used to coat the shredded veggies. Choose from options such as Tuna, Shellfish, Shark’s Fin and more to add in to your toss.

Toh Lee at Hotel Nikko
What is special here is the fact that you are able to get a Uni and Tobiko Yee Sang setting them apart from the traditional offerings. For those of you who aren’t in the know Uni is Sea Urchin Roe and Tobiko is flying fish roe. Both prized for their unique flavor…so if you’re looking for a creative Yee Sang do check this one out.

Zing at Grand Millenium
While this grandiose restaurant may have some of the more common Yee Sangs on hand such as Norwegian Salmon, Jelly Fish, and Abalone…there are also options that you don’t see everywhere such as Giant Clam and Australian Lobster Sashimi. Indulge in these options and make sure you toss as high as you can.

Kechara Oasis at Jaya 1
What we adore about this Yee Sang is that it is completely vegetarian and yet you don’t miss the meat. This Yee Sang is probably the healthiest around with no preservatives or MSG. This Yee Sang is made up of mango, pomelo, 3 types of seaweed, yam beans, ginger, carrot, crispy yam, and 6 types of nuts tossed in a citrus dressing with just a touch of cinnamon.
