Yes, we get lazy but that doesn’t mean we don’t want to eat something tasty. Here’s a trick. Take a ready made patty and spruce it up with cheese and seasonings and you have the laziest burger ever made…

A great burger cheat!

Serves 4 people

You can add a sausage to the mince- takes it to the next level.

INGREDIENTS
    6 ready made patties
    1 cup mozarella cheese
    4 burger buns (just get normal ones from your bakery)
    Onions
    Cucumber slices
    Mustard (whatever sauces you like)
METHOD

1. Defrost patties and mince it up.

2. Reform the patty and insert a good bit of cheese in the middle. You also add seasoning to it or a bit of barbecue sauce for added oomph.

3. Arrange patties on a tray and grill it in a pre-heated oven at 200C until the patties are brown and the cheese melts (about 15- 20 minutes). Put a tray with water underneath the patties so you will get a steamy and moist patty.

4. Cut buns and toast them.

5. Put whatever topping you desire and enjoy!
