Fry up some cakoi to make these crunchy prawn-filled snacks. We up the ante by pairing them with a zingy wasabi mayo dip. These are so addictively tasty, once you start you can’t stop. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.

6 pieces of cakoi
200 gm fresh prawns or fish paste
Enough Oil for deep-frying
1 Tbs Wasabi
4 Tbs Mayo
Sugar to taste
1. Cut cakoi into bite-sized pieces. Stuff cakoi with prawns or fish paste.
2. Heat oil then deep-fry the cakoi pieces until golden brown. Place fried cakoi pieces on kitchen paper to drain away excess oil.
3. Combine mayo, wasabi and sugar together. Mix well.
4. Serve fried cakoi with the wasabi mayo dip. Best eaten while still hot.
