"No frills affordable kambing"
Dubbed to be one of the best places to enjoy kambing bakar, Warung Kambing Bakar Ayam Penyet Sahara (quite a mouthful) has quite the reputation. We have good reason to believe that a certain Kambing Bakar place in Ampang was so inspired by the Kambing here that he opened a Kambing Bakar shop himself. More »

Located in the most unassuming place, this little gem of a shop is located below Pangsapuri Merak at Bukit Idaman. The food is cooked by Yunus Leong himself, one delectable dish at a time. More »
Situated right beside DUKE highway, this establishment teases me everyday. With a tagline "Makan sampai puas" and being a "kambing" maniac I knew that I had to make a pit stop one day. After I placed my order for drinks, I took my plate and made a beeline towards the buffet table. The buffet table is split into different sections, there are raw meats, an assortment of meatballs for your steamboat, a nasi lemak section, ice cream section, dim sum and sauces. Feast your eyes!
"A Gastrotruck with local taste"
Q Gastrotruck started back in 2012, selling Western-Asian fusion cuisine. Their ingredients are bought fresh daily with recipes that are fine tuned to suit local palates. "Local tastebuds are a little different, so I tweak recipes to suit them," Amin the chef explains. We started with one of their wraps, having to choose between chicken or beef; we opted for the darker meat. The wrap is served with their “Gastro Fries” which is a crispy finer cut version of standard fries.

Patrons frequent this humble eatery for the fragrant nasi lemak and crispy fried chicken. Marinated in a handful of spices, fried till golden, the chicken is a wonderful complimentary side dish to the nasi lemak. It’s a Malay-style fried chicken, with a thin layer of spicy crust covering firm and succulent flesh. More »
