Something quick you can throw together when unexpected guests drop by for tea.
"Perfect with a hot cup of tea…"
Ingredients
1 cup fresh gragao prawns
2 cups flour
1 tsp each baking powder + corn flour (optional) + cencalok
1 onion + 1 spring onion
Some white pepper
Enough water to make batter.
Serves...
3 - 4
Crispy with a lovely saltiness from the cencalok
Method
Mix everything together until you get a thick batter.
Heat lots of oil and deep fry dollops of batter.
Once it floats turn around. Once golden brown, you're done.
