Got some dry and cold leftover rice sitiing in the fridge? Don’t throw those out because you can make some awesome Kimchi Fried Rice out of it. It is dead easy and it is kind of healthy as well. I wasn’t really a Kimchi fan but I was totally amazed at how good and easy it as to make. This will definitely be my go-to Nasi Goreng recipe for sure. Worth it!
2 cups cooked rice
½ yellow onion, sliced
2 chicken sausages, sliced
1 cup kimchi, chopped
¼ cup kimchi juice
1 tbsp. gochujang paste
2 tsp. sesame oil
Chopped spring onions
1. Sauté onions and chicken sausage until slightly browned.
2. Add in chopped kimchi and stir it in.
3. Pour in rice, kimchi juice and gochujang pasta. Mix to incorporate everything together.
4. Season with sesame oil and garnish with chopped spring onions, sesame seeds and nori flakes. Top off with a runny fried egg.
