Oh this fried chicken is so good. It's beautifully fragrant and at the end you will get crispy onion and lemongrass bits to crunch on in between juicy mouthfuls of succulent chook.
Make this fried chicken and eat with nasi goreng belacan- it's da bomb!
Chicken needs to marinate for 2 hours. Marinate overnight for even more succulence and flavour
Method
Mix everything together in a bowl. Let the chicken marinate for at least 2 hours.
Prepare a wok. Add in enough oil to deep fry chicken (about 3 cups). When the oil starts smoking a little you're ready to fry. You can also put in a small piece of bread and once it turns brown and rises to the top, the oil is ready.
Fry chicken till its golden to dark brown in color. Cooking time will probably take about 7-10 minute.
