If you're looking for a weekend project to do with your kids, get them to make these yummy cookies with you. They are a cinch to bake and are so deliciously tasty.
"Multicoloured M&Ms jazz these cookies up..."
½ cup butter, room temperature
½ cup castor sugar
¼ cup light brown sugar
1 large egg
1 ¼ all purpose flour
½ tsp baking soda
1 cup mini M&Ms
1 cup raisins
1 cup nuts
1 tsp vanilla
It's an easy recipe so have fun and make them with your kids.
if it’s a hot day, chill the dough first before putting on the pan to bake, otherwise you'll end up with flat cookies.
1. Preheat oven 175C.
2. Cream sugar and butter until fluffy
3. Add egg. Then, add vanilla. Mix in flour & baking soda into the mixture.
4. Fold in all the raisins, nuts and M&Ms.
5. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart on a baking tray.
6. Bake for 12 minutes.
You need butter, an egg, sugar, raisins, nuts, flour, baking soda, vanilla and M & Ms to make these scrumptious cookies.
