This fun, refreshing drink is a staple of ayam penyet shops. Here’s a simple version for you to serve to your guests this festive season. Making it at home means you get to choose how sweet or fizzy you want it to be.

A happy soda for a happy time!

Serves 1 people

Use plain soda water for a less sweet version.

This drink is best made individually so it doesn't fizz out to soon. Add toppings like cincau or basil seeds or jelly, or use different coloured home-made syrups for a trippy drink!

    1/4 cup fresh milk
    1 Tbsp rose syrup
    Ice cream soda

1. Fill a glass with ice and pour in the milk.

2. Top up with ice cream soda.

3. Drizzle the rose syrup on top with a spoon.

4. Go bergembira!
