Oh yeah, on a cool night nothing beats curling up on a sofa and sipping melted chocolate in a mug.
Don’t underestimate great hot chocolate.
Serves 2 people
Wonderfully chocolatey with a hint of chilli bite
1 1/2 cups milk
1 cinnamon stick
1 vanilla bean
1 red chilli, deseeded
1 1/2 ounce bittersweet chocolate
1. Simmer milk with half a vanilla bean (you can use essence), cinnamon stick and the red chilli.
2. When heated for about a minute grate bittersweet chocolate and whisk it until melted.
3. Let it steep for 10 minutes, strain out spices and serve.
