As one of the Aji Don’s veteran stalls, Penang Fried Kuey Teow has become one of the preferred spots amongst lunch regulars at Plaza Damas. With only one item on item on the menu, it's living proof of the saying, "do one thing, and do it well"...

Fried Kuey Teow yang KAW.

Aji Don’s Penang Fried Kuey Teow is not often talked about but we can all agree on one thing. It is “FLIPPIN” Good! The recipe is pretty much the same since the early 2000s when they first started frying up all that smokey goodness.

There’s two Abang whom I refer to as the “wok master” and they have been serving lunch goers for years and years. Consistency is their best friend and that is one of the reasons why the Fried Kuey Teow tastes spot on time after time.

As you can see they are very generous with the portions here. The Fried Kuey Teow is packed with shrimps, taugeh, eggs and ANOTHER telur mata kerbau to top it all off. Surprisingly with so much stuff packed into one dish, it’s only RM4 which makes it “murah gila”. Best part about this Fried Kuey Teow is the smokiness of it, which comes from the old seasoned wok. That delicious wok hei covers every part of this dish from the bits and pieces of egg to every single strip of taugeh.
