Around the Ampang area, if you are hankering for some tandoori, go to Arumugams. Mouth-watering butter and garlic naan piping hot with one of the best tandoori chicken in town. The tandoori paste is marinated deep in the chicken and you get it hot and succulent, grilled to perfection! The naans here are so soft it melts in your mouth. The butter naan here is to die for. Apparently the tandoori fish is also good. Everything is good here.

Located a stone's throw from all the international schools and embassies, it's a place to come if you haven't had enough to eat in one of those black tie affairs down the road. Also we love the mutton kebab, juicy and full of flavour. Mr. Arumugam learned the art of making tandoori from a North Indian chef and today here he is. You can even call 012- 354 5624 and order, then come by and collect your food, piping hot, packed and ready to go. Arumugams is located in a cozy food court with neighbouring stalls serving satay, chicken rice, nasi lemak and soups.
