Big Tree Head Mamak have been cooking up their legendary Nasi Lemak Ayam for the past 30 years. Raja uses his own recipe for Nasi Lemak and Ayam Goreng and through loads of trial and error have tweaked it to his customer's liking.

The crowd favourite here has to be the Ayam Goreng. Even though the Nasi Lemak is just as good, without the Ayam Goreng it won’t be the same. Raja prepares his Ayam Goreng daily with his special freshly blended spice rub. Everyday this is made fresh. None of this make a huge batch and keep in the freezer sort of thing. As a result of all these efforts, the Ayam Goreng is super crispy and crunchy on the outside while the inside is extremely moist and juicy. If makan satu je Ayam Goreng memang tak puas!

Okay let’s get down to business, The Nasi Lemak itself! Haaa, it’s very light as Raja purposely reduces the santan and adds in more halia and serai to make it more aromatic. This way you can enjoy more of their Nasi Lemak without feeling guilty. Don’t worry la Raja's got your back on this.

It’s perfect with the sweet and spicy Sambal that comes with the Nasi Lemak, especially when you mix it all together. It’s like match made in heaven, the flavours become best friends instantly. I don’t know about you but I’d definitely be back to Big Tree Head Mamak again for this Nasi Lemak.
