Bintang Sue - One of the best Chinese & Seafood stall in Damansara

If you’re a lepak regular at the famous Uptown Damansara Hawker Centre then Bintang Sue shouldn’t be a stranger to you as well. Been whipping up banging seafood and Chinese dishes since the late 90’s, it’s no surprise why this place have become one of the go to places for a simple seafood craving!

Evening rush hour sets in and you’re stuck in the middle of Damansara, where do you go to escape the madness? Uptown Damansara of course! And with the new parking lot building just next to it, makes it a lot easier for you to feast from stalls after stalls of endless delicious affordable food. You just can’t go wrong with this place.

One of my favourite stalls here is Bintang Sue; friendly cooks and waiters, relatively cheap and most importantly, their flippin good food! I always go for their Balitong (Siput Sedut) Masak Pedas - fresh Balitong coated with silky smooth dark salty soy sauce and some cili kering for that extra kick we Malaysians always crave for.

The other go to dish is definitely the Sweet and Sour Chicken. The deep fried chicken fillet is coated with a simple seasoned batter to give it a bit of a crunch and then smothered with their signature sweet and sour sauce that has chunks of pineapples and thinly sliced red onions to give your taste bud that extra zing!

I also love their Deep Fried Salted Egg Squid! It’s crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside and covered with all of that Salted Egg goodness - and that’s everything you’d look for in a deep fried anything!

One more thing they’re famous for is their Koay Teow Goreng Kering; loaded with fish cakes and crunchy fresh Taugeh (Bean Sprout) with a tinge of smokiness that comes from the wok. It’s a no fuss and no muss Koay Teow Goreng, just straight up simple and sedap.
