Curbside Cantina has been spreading taco love with their bright truck and great bargains. We love their Taco Tuesdays and with strategic partnerships with coffee joints and buildings they are one savvy food truck that is here to stay.

This truck started out at first as a mobile kitchen for owners Tubby and Noreen's catering business (they were doing canapes and small plates). But then thought that, 'Hey we have a fully kitted out truck... might as well make the best of it.' Lo and behold, Curbside Cantina was born.

Hard at work making tacos

Curbside Cantina started selling their Mexican inspired cuisine in 2014. Their food is simple and straightforward, but packs a huge punch. They are best known for their Fish Tacos. White fish goujons are breaded and fried to a crispy crust while retaining tender, succulent meat inside. These tasty morsels are wrapped in soft tortillas with vegetables, guacomole and sprinkling of sharp grated cheese.

These fish tacos are good...

Now Curbside Cantina has partnered with Seasons Tea to pair their crisp and flaky fish tacos with Seasons’ fresh and fruity teas. We think the floury tortillas, rich guac and fresh fried fish will go a treat with a refreshing Seasons Tea.

It's fast, it's tasty and it's pretty delicious. The tacos also come with chicken or beef fillings.

Everyone eagerly waits Taco Tuesdays

Be sure to take advantage of Curbside's Taco Tuesdays. While their tacos run around the RM12 mark, on Tuesdays you can buy 3 tacos for only RM15. It's a helluva deal and great if you're A) sharing or B) really want a taco but are sorta low on cash.

Making tacos... we be making tacos...

Curbside also makes a quesadillas with a funky mutton filling and loaded with cheese. Uniquely they don't serve nachos with their tacos or quesas - instead, you get a handful of poppadums. "Well, we're still Malaysian. That's our Malaysian touch," said Tubby.

Those with a sweet tooth will love their churros: freshly fried in bite-sized pieces, they're pleasantly crunchy and chewy and served with a smooth creamy chocolate sauce.

Previously, Tubby and Noreen ran the (much missed) Pink Sage Restaurant in Publika, in addition to their catering. Now they still do catering and functions, but on alternate days (Mon-Wed-Fri) the Curbside Cantina truck is on the move either in Bangsar, TTDI or Hartamas. That's where you're going catch them for some great...well, curbside dining.
