Nooks by Baker Dave has been baking scrumptious heavenly miniature cakes on the down low for almost 7 years now. No wonder the people of Hartamas keeps this place a secret. It’s so good that you won’t wanna share it with anyone.

Burned out from the corporate world, David or lovingly known as Baker Dave by his regulars decided to go back to his passion which is baking and giving Anna Olsen a run for her money. After 2 years of soul searching and taking orders from friends and family, Nooks by Baker Dave was born.


Nooks by Baker Dave is known for their moist and spongy Ultimate Chocolate Cake. This is three layers of chocolatey goodness YASSS. Chocolate cake, chocolate mousse and smothered with their handmade dark chocolate ganache. All three flavours of the chocolate complements each other well.


The Carrot cake is elegantly made here and is a little more dense than your ordinary cake. It’s covered with a light icing and topped with pumpkin seeds and walnuts to give it more texture.


If you’re into the classic Yam Cake, you have to sink your sweet tooth in to Baker Dave’s version. The yam paste is handmade so you’ll get real yam flavours that's not too overpowering. It’s perfect with light vanilla sponge cake.


Here’s something you can get off the menu, the Affogato Waffle. One of the baristas describes it as a fancy You Tiaow or Chakoi. Light warm waffle is dipped in a cold ice cream that’s covered with a hot espresso. You can imagine the mix of flavours that goes on here.
