You can barbecue your meat the way you want to
Overlooking the KLCC park on the 3rd floor of PNB Darby Park, sit next to the glass walls for the great ambience. The restaurant can be a bit busy during dinner as it is popular with Koreans and locals as well. An all Korean meal at Kung Joong starts with a selection of about nine different starter dishes from kim chi, seaweed, potatoes, fried beansprouts to fishball cuts.
One of the winning starters is the Paj Jeon, a kind of Korean styled pancake stuffed with spring onions and seafood. Cut into bite size pieces, it is delicious finger food to accompany one or another of the restaurant dishes.
Come for the Saeng Kal Bi Koo Ee, fresh spare ribs barbecued Korean style on charcoal fire right in front of you. The more adventurous should try the ox tongue as well. Dip some of the barbecued meat with the accompanying sesame oil and rock salt. We love the taste combination this gives out. The sesame oil combo goes will with other dishes as well. The cooked rice with vegetables and beef is definitely flavourful. Beansprouts, cucumber, mushroom, carrot, beef and eggs are combined in a stone pot and cooked for several minutes. This you must have with some Bul Ko Kee cooked over the charcoal fire as well. The tender slices of beef are cooked with seasoning, cabbage, spring onions and carrot slices. Service is fast and the good food is served by nice people.
