Little Yum Yum is originally from Ipoh, but they had open a branch in Kota Damansara for quite sometime. Here in Kota Damansara, they still retain their Nyonya Cuisine which is what they are famous for.

We odered several of their famous dishes which are Pucuk Paku Ikan Masin, Gulai Tumis Ikan and also Ayam Cencalok.

The pucuk paku is a simple stir fry with garlic and salted fish, but boy it tastes so good. They are not skimping out on the garlic as you can feel the punch with every bite and the small bits of salted fish are a treat to bite into.

Gulai Tumis Ikan is a balance of a sweet and sour dish. The thick gravy is further complemented with tomatoes and lady fingers. The fish on the other hand is cooked lovingly in the broth, absorbing all the delicious spices. The flesh is sweet and flaky, making it a perfect to go with the broth.

Ayam Cencalok is a must try here, for those who don't know, cencalok is a popular Malaccan food that is made of fermented shrimps and krill. The cencalok gives this dish that slight briny taste that is simply amazing.

Little Yum Yum is usually packed during dinner hours so its best to reserve a table before hand. Nevertheless, the food is good and the price is reasonable, so you are bound to have a good meal here.
