After a few minutes of sipping boiled sugarcane in ice, the first kerang bakar baskets arrived. Cooking 'siham' over the fire reduced some its juiciness but this was made up by giving it that delicious smoky flavor. The cockles are great. If you love grilled cockles, this is recommended. The peanut sauce that comes with it was excellent.
Then came the tom yam, and it tasted closest to the authentic Thai Tom Yam in town so far. Tom Yam can be sweet, sourish and spicy all in one bowl. And in true tom yam, one flavour may be accentuated over the others. The trick is to achieve the perfect balance. N & J's sourish tom yam taste exerted more influence over the rest but all in all, perfect balance.
N & J are quite well know for their Fried Rice, with their ample servings of prawns in between the deliciously fried rice. The rice deserved seconds and this was happily executed by calling the waiter one more time. The lala cooked with basil and chilli is one of the main favorites. The secret sauce from this stir fried dish was thick and sweet from the lala, with a tinge of spiciness and herb from the basil, yum...Yum... The kangkung with belacen was very fresh (.... the kangkung I mean). Barbecued Squid was a bit bland if you prefer yours with smoky flavour, this may be for you.
"Barbecued crabs anyone?"
The main event, crabs! We ordered Barbecue Crabs and Crabs cooked in Curry Powder. Both types of cooking style is about RM40 per kg, so you really have to like crabs to order this. Barbecuing crabs made the crab meat taste a bit strong as some of the juices had evaporated but we had no complains here. The Curry Powder Crabs ... was really good! Too bad we did not have any mantou to dip the sauce in... It would have been a super slurp! The sauce was truly superb. The curry powder taste was not too overpowering and there is some sweetness and a pungent taste (if that can be described any better).
The plates were almost licked clean. Last was the chakoi to finish off the fine meal. The Green Kaya Pandan is normally thick and sweet but sometimes they do have off days!
Please note that food service only starts at 6pm...
But you'd better be there by then as it could get pretty crowded by 6.15pm :(

I was at Nong&Jimmy;long time ago, I recalled that the BBQ prawns were much yummier than the BBQ crabs. Agree that their tomyam is one of the best (and spiciest) I have tried in Klang V so far.
