Mamma mia! Pizza! Spaghetti! Ravioli! If you are into Italian and don't have the bucks for it, perhaps Pizza Uno/Bella Italia in Centrepoint, Bandar Utama can help you. If you're planning to have dinner, come early as this place gets packed up rather early. People come here for their Baked Chicken and at the same time wallop some mussels and pizza too. A meal for three here is well below one hundred bucks which I am sure brings stomach growls to a lot of our readers out there . Now, now... don't get too excited yet, see what we have to say...

You get half a dozen New Zealand Green Mussels for about RM10.00 served in three different dressings. Sprinkle some lemon juice on the mussels and what more can you ask for? Great value. However, their Minestrone Soup was not a no no. Bad idea..

As for the pizzas, the Romeo Special (Large:RM22,00) is not too bad. Comes with a pan crust. Ravioli comes with chicken and mushroom stuffing in sun dried tomato sauce. At RM18.00, a good attempt. Not as good as La Risata with its Salmon sauce but a worthy adversary. Of course, La Risata's a bit more expensive.

"The New Zealand mussels are a treat"


The baked chicken is what people come here for. Come early or all you will get is an "I'm sorry, we are out of the baked chicken" statement. Quite good. The slow baked chicken is served with potatoes, carrot and tomatoes. Meat is tender and juicy.

That's another value Italian place. Don't expect the frills of an italian restaurant, the candlelight and all as it will not have all that. It's serious food and fun. Good for meeting friends and family....
