Let’s be real, it’s a task to find a really good chinese noodle house in KL and the good ones are usually non halal. Taiwan Noodle House is here to save the day and they’ve been doing it since the early 90’s.

You can feel the love in every bowl of noodles

It’s my go to joint every time I get a bad craving for Chinese food and it has never failed me, I’ve been chucking down their bowls of noodles since the early primary days. My mom would order me a bowl of their noodle as a reward for “teman” her to shop around Ampang Point.

Fast forward to 2018, not much have changed except they have move a new lot in the mall and have added new furnitures, but still the same old tasty hearty food that will always make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

First rule of Taiwan Noodle House, always start with the Crispy Spring Onion Pancake! Perfect appetizer to share with your buddies (or maybe not)! It comes with a small bowl of addictive garlic soy dip, this is the killer right here. One is never really enough!

You have to try their bowl of Dry Beef Glass Noodle. A generous serving of silky glass noodle, served together with their signature braised beef that is very herby with a distinct clove and star anise flavour in the background, some lightly boiled potatoes and carrots, and top it all of with some of the chili and pickles. You are en route to happy days with this beauty!

Don’t forget about Taiwan Noodle House Beef Rice, it’s the same component as the Beef Noodle but they switch the glass noodle with a warm plate of rice. Imagine mixing that all together, it is perfect for those who can’t live without their rice.

If you’re not a beef person, then get yourself a bowl of their massive Fish Head Noodle! It is to die for, chunks of deep fried fish bits and bee hoon all thrown together in their creamy broth. The fish texture plays well with the dish so you won’t get bored of it, it’s practically a hug in a bowl!
