Warung Soho was founded by a proud Kelantanese chap, who got tired of eating disappointing and phoney east coast fare. So he decided to take matters into his own hands and learnt the recipes from his mother for 6 months just to nail down the the authentic Kelantanese taste.

The line can a bit long but worth the wait
One of the first thing you’ll see as soon as you get to Warung Soho is the tagline “Resipi Tradisi Cik Siti Wan Kembang” right on the signboard and true enough they do live up to their name of satisfying your “kelate’’ cravings by serving up the simplest Kelantanese and East Coast grub.
Don’t let the lunch crowd deter you away, it’s like that every single day and the line moves fast. Once you’ve managed to get your hands on their Nasi Soho, you’ll know why the crowd keeps coming back for more.
Since Warung Soho fired up their kitchen in 2016, it has been one of Plaza Damas' lunch staple. Inspired by the well-known Nasi Kak Wok, Warung Soho takes it up another notch by making both the Gulai Ikan Tongkol and Gulai Telur Teringat with their own signature kick. Not leaving out the sambal belacan, punya lah kaw! That, plus a mountain of the Ayam Goreng Kunyit makes the Nasi Soho. I was sweating bullets with each and every bite but it was worth it.
The chunky bits Ayam Goreng Kunyit that comes along with the Nasi Soho is full of flavour with a hint of sweetness, not too much but it just enough to let you know that this is how Ayam Goreng Kunyit is done in Kelantan. Other than Nasi Soho they also serve up Nasi Dagang and Nasi Kerabu during Ramadhan which is how they started Warung Soho.
